We recently bought a vacation home in Lyman NH ( the town next to Lisbon ) last weekend while I was there the battery & brake dashboard lights came up on my car which is a warning that the alternator is dead or about to go bad. I brought the car to Dale's Auto Body, and the owner of the place ( Michael ) diagnosed the problem very quickly, and gave me an estimate for the alternator's replacement. he gave me a ride back home, and brought our car back to our house once it was fixed. I dropped the car around 10 am, and he brought the car back to our house around 3pm - the same day ( right at the time he said the car would be ready ) and handed me the invoice, and told me.. just swing by the shop whenever you can to pay it ) the bill was substantially lower from what I've read online of the average price to change an alternator.
